# Chainstack updates: October 8, 2026

> Chainstack upgraded Starknet Global Nodes to Pathfinder v0.24.2. starknet_estimateMessageFee now returns an overall_fee of at least 0.00005 ETH.

**Starknet**. Chainstack upgraded Starknet [Global Nodes](/docs/global-elastic-node) on Mainnet and Sepolia Testnet to [Pathfinder v0.24.2](https://github.com/software-mansion/pathfinder/releases/tag/v0.24.2). [`starknet_estimateMessageFee`](/reference/starknet-starknetestimatemessagefee) now returns an `overall_fee` of at least 50,000,000,000,000 wei (0.00005 ETH). When the gas amounts multiplied by their prices add up to less than that, `overall_fee` is exactly 50,000,000,000,000 wei.
