# Unlimited Node

> Convert any Chainstack RPC node into a flat-fee Unlimited Node with predictable monthly costs, capacity-based billing, and no per-request overage charges.

## Overview

The **Unlimited Node add‑on** lets you turn **any** existing RPC node into a flat‑fee, capacity‑capped powerhouse.

Instead of paying per request, you pick an RPS (requests per second) tier, activate the add‑on, and enjoy predictable monthly costs.

### Available RPS tiers

* 25 RPS
* 100 RPS
* 250 RPS
* 500 RPS
* 1000 RPS

  ### Add‑on vs. extra usage

  With Unlimited Node, you **do not need the extra usage** option for the attached node.

  The node **consumes zero plan quota** and never incurs overage.

  If you exceed the tier limit, you will simply hit a message that the rate exceeds the limit.

## Enable Unlimited Node

1. In **Nodes**, open the node you want to upgrade.

2. Click **Add-ons** > **Unlimited Node**.

3. Pick an RPS tier and click **Apply changes**.

4. Confirm payment. The add‑on starts within seconds.
