# net_peerCount | Arc

> Arc API method that returns the number of peers currently connected to the client. Available on Arc via Chainstack JSON-RPC nodes.

Arc API method that returns the number of peers currently connected to the client.

## Parameters

None.

## Response

* `result` — the number of connected peers encoded as hexadecimal
