# eth_getRawTransactionByHash | Base

Base API method `eth_getRawTransactionByHash` retrieves the raw transaction data as a hexadecimal string for a given transaction hash. This method is useful for obtaining the complete transaction data, including its signature.

* `transactionHash` — the hash of the transaction to retrieve.
